Dale & Tori
12th October, 2024
Groom & Bride
Dale is the oldest son to Paul and Melinda Robb, born in June 1994 in Dover, Ohio. While working evenings and mid shifts in the kitchen at JNG, he first interacted with Tori in spring of 2019. Tori worked mornings, and he came in for a rare earlier mid shift. He was assigned to help her with food prep and they struck up an easy conversation about their music taste. They interacted a few more times during their time in the kitchen there, but he would soon lose track of Tori when he took an opportunity in another kitchen to pursue more serious work in the kitchen at Craft Bistro. A few months later, imagine his surprise when he bumped into Tori while she was on a date with someone else. She remembered him and over the next several weeks they struck up a genuine friendship. The day he knew that Tori was someone he wanted at his side for the rest of his life, she accepted an invitation to join him and a crowd of his friends and family on a Walleye fishing charter on Lake Erie. Everyone on the trip were complete strangers to her, but she said yes anyways in a leap of faith. From that day forward, they have been together through all sorts of life’s challenges. Words cannot express how blessed he feels to have the privilege of calling her his wife.
Dale
Tori, youngest child to Marc and Sonya Clawson, was born in Shenandoah Iowa and moved to Dover when she was three years old. When she met Dale in the kitchen at JNG, she wasn’t interested in anything other than friendship as she was seeing someone else at the time. She used to enjoy joking with him and picking on him when they worked together, and when they met again by chance a year later, she remembered him fondly enough to invite him on her date when his shift was over. He grabbed a beer and sat with them for a while catching up on what she had missed of his life. When her relationship ended soon after, she invited him and some friends to hang out. For Tori, that night was the start of a close friendship that would turn into the most beautiful relationship of her life. Tori knew that Dale was the one for her when they took a trip to Iowa to visit her grandmother. When Grandma and Dale met, they seemed like kindred spirits. Tori was touched to find out that they even shared a favorite bible passage. After four years of the mountain top highs and deep valley lows of life, she feels incredibly blessed and excited to call this man her husband.

Our big day will be hosted at a friends cabin located in Bowerston. We will be hosting the ceremony at the front of the cabin with a view overlooking the hills. The reception will be behind the cabin next to the wood line under a tent. The owners of the cabin will be directing parking, as limited parking will be available behind the cabin and the remaining parking will be at the entrance road leading to the cabin. We will be having live music from local artist Matt Barnhart, along with a brunch. Children are welcome, and there will be a children's table with activities. Dress code is dressy casual, we ask that immediate family of the groom wear navy and immediate family of the bride wear sage green ( as those are our colors). Finally, for those that would like to bring a gift we are asking that you would consider donating to our honeymoon fund instead.
